As adults we take courses to keep our skills sharp and be innovative in the marketplace. Do the same for a young adult you know and encourage them to explore this summer. Get them away from their cell phones. Summer parks and recs classes focus their attention in an area they might enjoy – and it’s cool to be excited about learning.
Find that Parks and Recs booklet from your town and take a look at all the cool classes scheduled for everyone in the community. Not finding something you think is important? You can teach it! Reach out and make a difference.
