• Teslas are being Recalled for Obscured Warning Sounds - third sizable recall in just 10 days The culprit this time is the Boombox function obscuring the pedestrian warning system. Tesla will perform an over-the-air software update for free to fix the issue. The automaker will begin notifying owners April 5, but in the meantime, those with questions can call Tesla at 877-798-3752

 You can find out if your car has a past recall by going to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and inputting your VIN number. Or find their SaferCar app.

In the news: U.S. highway safety regulators are about to allow new high-tech headlights that can automatically tailor beams, so they focus on dark areas of the road and don’t create glare for oncoming drivers. “adaptive driving beam headlights”

Coach Charlie's Tip of The Week: Make sure your battery cables are connected correctly when you go to jump a vehicle. Look for “+”. The cable might not be red also battery may not be under the hood. Look for a positive post.
