Recalls for the week:
- Model-year 2021 Kia Seltos and model-year 2020-21 Soul vehicles specifically equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine - dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the engine. Dealers also will install piston ring noise sensing software. All repairs will be done for free, and the recall will begin June 11. Owners with further questions can call Kia at 800-333-4542.
- Model-year 2017-19 Subaru Impreza sedans and hatchbacks and model-year 2018-19 Crosstrek SUVs: dealers will check and, as necessary, update the engine control module programming and replace all ignition coils.
- 2019 Subaru Forester wagons and Crosstrek SUVs - dealers will examine and re-torque the bolts on the rear stabilizer bracket. Subaru says incident rates are extremely low and no related accidents or injuries have been reported. Dealers will perform all repairs for free, and owners will be notified by June 14. Those with further questions can call the automaker at 844-373-6614.
- 2009-15 Toyota Venza - has some airbag issues. dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver-side front door wire harness for free. As a fix, dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver-side front door wire harness for free. Toyota will begin notifying owners May 31, but if you have further questions, you can call the automaker at 800-331-4331.
