Description

This past week, one of Dr. Galati’s staff was stricken with a growing public health problem, called rhabdomyolysis, known as “rhabdo” for short. Rhabdo is the result of excessive muscle use, typically seen with spinning classes or cross-fit programs, resulting in excessive muscle damage. The problem is that rhabdo can cause acute kidney injury, leading to a host of serious complications.
