Eating carbohydrates or releasing sugar into your body is gonna release the serotonin which is the feel-good hormone and that’s gonna allow you to sleep a lot deeper as well and waking up in the morning feeling refreshed and good to go. I think it’s a vital part of nutrition throughout the day.

About the Guest: Dylan Goddard

Looking at Dylan Goddard, you quickly realize he is obsessed with health.

Dylan grew up in South Africa, playing both rugby and squash at a provincial level. After leaving school, Dylan competed in bodybuilding, mixed martial arts, and mountain biking for four years. Over the last six years, Dylan has lived in Singapore, competed in CrossFit and making it to regionals twice.

Dylan is part-owner and head coach at CrossFit Tanjong Pagar in Singapore. Dylan Goodard holds the Precision Nutrition level one certification, is a Qualified Personal Training from the National Federation of Professional Trainers in the United States, and is a CrossFit Level 2 instructor.

As an aside, Dylan was my coach when I lived Singapore. To this day, he is one of my top 10 go-to resources for training information.
