On this episode I speak with Mr. Peter Dawson the chairman of one of Portugal’s oldest privately held companies: Garland Logistics. Garland is a company that specialises in transport, shipping and logistics and the company has a long and interesting history that goes all the way back to the year 1776.
Peter has worked in the field of transport and logistics for over 40 years, first in the Netherlands, then for 8 years in Portugal, followed by 20 years in the UK with the company PSL Freight, before returning to the family business, Garland, in Portugal in 2002.
Peter lives in Sintra, Portugal, which he describes as being the most beautiful place in the world.
