The playful field event of Triple Jump has been a mainstay of modern Olympic history. Plenty of records have been broken in this event as the decades have ticked over. That is, until Jonathan Edwards stepped up to the board in Gothenburg, 1995.
In an event, rarely recognised for its incredible technical challenges, Edwards forged a World Record that still stands at the time of recording. An extraordinary feat and an extraordinary athlete.
