I’m just a regular dude, trying to live what I call an UNCOMMON Life. By day I am an educator, helping the leaders of tomorrow to discover and develop their gifts and talents. By night (and on weekends – just doesn’t sound nearly as superhero-ish ;-)), I work with rockstar entrepreneurs and professionals who want to be, do, or have more in life. Other titles I have are author, keynote speaker, and dad of the century (kidding… kinda). All of those roles come together into one mission, help as many people as I can live more purposeful, fulfilled lives regardless of what that looks like for them. I truly enjoy my life and absolutely love my work. It wasn’t always that way though…
The short version of the story is...
Born the youngest of five kids to a couple of high school dropouts.
Grew up poor with limiting beliefs and financial insecurities.
Life was defined by overachieving and under believing.
Graduated top of my class from UT Austin and played football for the Longhorns.
Chased money hoping to satisfy financial insecurities.
Suffered severe anxiety attack and suffered from symptoms for six months.
Went into depression and almost lost my marriage.
Became a father, and decided I wanted to live an UNCOMMON Life.
Currently coaching, speaking, and leading the UNCOMMON Life mission.
