Ollie Scott, Junior Eldstål, Ian McKenzie and David Cotterill

What/Why?

We sit down with ex Wales International Premier League footballer David Cotterill. This episode is very football focussed as we discuss David's high and lows as a footballer.

At the age of 18, David Cotterill signed for then Premier League side Wigan Athletic on Transfer Deadline Day in 2006 for £2 Million Pounds. David had already played an amazing 62 times for Bristol City prior to his move to Wigan. Later on in his career, there were suggestions from one manager in particular that David may have got too much too soon.

Last year David announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 30, he has also been very vocal about his battles with mental health and is doing his part to reduce the stigma surrounding it.
