Carolyn Newman is one of the UK’s most respected independent colourists and educators. Carolyn is a freelance colourist and educator and is renowned for her teaching skills, advanced colour knowledge and creative techniques to the worldwide hairdressing industry.
Carolyn Newman Colour and Education Consultancy is the result of more than 30 years experience in the colour industry. She is known for her contemporary colour work and enthusiastic presentations.She has developed and taught her own colour courses, educational seminars and hair shows all over the world.
Carolyn is also the Education Manager for the Hairdotcom Art Team - a prestigious role that is testament to her expertise.
Carolyn was at the helm of Charles Worthington Salons for 25 years; she has a 360° understanding of the professional salon environment and has worked as
operations director, colour and education director, and salon manager.
Carolyn has educated internationally for brands including L’Oréal Professionnel, Natulique, Schwarzkopf and the Tribu-te Academy. She is also regularly requested by independent salon groups and organisations as a freelance educator and presenter, and is the Education Manager for the hairdotcom international Art Team.
