Louis Byrne is an established celebrity hairstylist currently making his name in Media Hairdressing.
Louis mainly works with empowered (and empowering) female personalities, including Emma Willis, Vicky McClure and Ellie Goulding. He fronts an ongoing live makeover segment on ITV’s Lorraine show encouraging women to take ‘hair risks’.
Empowerment is key to Louis’ work. Working closely with his media personality clients, he aims to inspire and motivate women to have the courage to try something new and break from prescribed norms of femininity. The Emma Willis ‘quaff’ – co-created with Louis – is an iconic example. Like all of Louis’ work, the ‘quaff’ is the result of the strong bond of trust between him and his client, but also an aspiration to create stunning hairstyles which keep evolving.
Louis’ own individual passion for wellness led to the creation of #ICanIAmAndIWill; a personal empowerment movement which encourages people to own and celebrate their unique identity.
Louis says, ‘My opinion is that everyone through self-discovery can regenerate their unique skill, creativity and wellness and thrive as a motivated, educated and inspired professional’.
Louis is an amazing human being who I have worked alongside at Haircuts4Homeless and have grown to love and respect as a friend.
