It will be make or break for Mauritania in their opening game against Burkina Faso as the Northwest Africans will seek to get out of a tough group that includes Algeria and Angola. Mauritanian football journalist Hassen NDiaye says the goal for the team will be to make the second round, after qualifying for the last three tournaments, and success or failure will come down to the opening encounter.
