You know Baron Davis' rap sheet on the court. UCLA Legend, Two-Time NBA All-Star, third overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft, leader of the 'We Believe' Warriors, we get it. But B. Diddy's exploits off of the court might be just as impressive. On today's episode of "Say Less," Davis, fresh off of his 41st birthday, talks at length about his companies SLiC and No Label. He expresses the desire for athletes' stories and documentaries to be told by the athletes' peers and not just sportswriters. He explains why he based his company out in the Bay Area, his series WTF Baron Davis on Hulu and FUSE, the need for positive black characters and tales to be told, and what he would do to make the NBA's H.O.R.S.E. competition more compelling in the wake of COVID-19.
Davis also talks hoops and breaks down exactly why the 'We Believe' Warriors defeated the heavily favored top-seeded Dallas Mavericks, as well as where he feels his game would fit in the NBA in 2020. Davis also explains the art of point guard play and who are some of the league's greatest artists and details the first game that he got cooked in the NBA and who did it.
