Description

Excited by England’s 1966 World Cup victory and the FA Cup win by Tottenham that same year Patricia Gregory wrote to her local paper questioning why women were not playing the beautiful game. Patricia received letters from women interested in playing, and she set up a club. In the late 1960’s Patricia Gregory was actively involved in setting up the Women’s FA as the game’s governing body.Patricia Gregory tells her story to Suzie Thorpe and Linda Ness.
