Description

You wanna know Chryssy’s doing? She’s tired of being a good person.

She’s crabby and bitter and sick of being good to other people, and she needs Heather to convince her to keep making morally and ethically correct choices.

We have a recap of our goals, and the ladies are a little off track. It’s important to share when we’re off track, because we aren’t perfect, either. Pasta and bread have been swapped out, but cookies are making an appearance so it’s probably kind of defeating the purpose. Miles are not getting run. But we’re still taking vitamins!

Chryssy tells us about a fire ant emergency and miracle, and the ladies ponder how our brains can react so quickly in these events and perform so shittily in regular life. We recommend we all watch Surviving Death on Netflix and maybe talk about it in a little while.

Chryssy got a check in the mail, and it led to an existential crisis. Not really, but she kind of wishes it would have.

If you were planning to watch “I Care A Lot” on Netflix, you should do that before you listen to this episode, because Chryssy completely spoils it.

The conversation today revolves about why we do right instead of wrong in our personal and professional lives. We talk about how we “know” what right is and how it feels to live with knowing you did right or wrong. We discuss a little bit of right FOR WHOM and how the collective “right” beats our personal desires sometimes. And how mad that makes Chryssy.

Speaking of right and wrong, make sure you pick up our new book club read, Defending Jacob by William Landay. There’s plenty of morality and loyalty to discuss here.

There’s some homework, and we hope it keeps you on the straight and narrow, even when the straight and narrow sucks.

Don’t forget you can find us Monday’s beginning around 9:45AM on Facebook Live at How To Do Life with Chryssy and Heather in addition to listening here!
