Description

There's very few Cobblers players that have come up against Romario, Hugo Sanchez and Lothar Matthäus but Carlo Corazzin achieved that and more in a rich career that took in playing for various clubs including Northampton Town as well as lighting up the international stage by winning the CONCACAF Gold Cup with Canada and claiming the Golden Boot.

A humble Corazzin talks us through his life growing up in Canada and moving to Italy to pursue his dream of playing professional football. From there Carlo played for Cambridge United and Plymouth Argyle. He explains how he turned down Watford for Northampton, continuing to notch on a regular basis but perhaps not being played as consistently as he would have liked.

Carlo then went on to success in the Gold Cup in LA in 2000 before moving on to Oldham Athletic and then back home with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Corazzin's story is one of desire, quality and huge pride, culminating with being inducted into the Canadian soccer Hall Of Fame.
