He never courted attention and went about his business in the centre of the park for Northampton over 7 seasons and was a key player in getting Cobblers to Wembley 2 years on the bounce.

From the Baggies, Hunter came to Sixfields to play for Ian Atkins and soon became a fans' favourite with dominant, all action displays in the middle of the park.
