Description

As a working actor, you’ll meet a lot of people on the job. Other actors, directors, producers, showrunners, you name it. Each new project with new people brings a new type of environment on set – and every once in awhile the environment becomes toxic.

That’s something that Lucas Till has experience working through. He’s worked on jobs from the 2016 reboot of MacGyver, a number of films and television productions including Hannah Montana: The Movie, The Spy Next Door, Monster Trucks, and X-Men.

In this episode, Lucas shares his experience sticking up for himself and his fellow actors to disrupt a toxic work environment, and how he cared for his mental health all the while. Lucas also shares his tips and wisdom for young, aspiring actors, how to make your name stick in a casting director’s brain, and how he knew the acting life was right for him.
