In a multi level marketing business, a fair payout plan establishes a fine line. It should be one that motivates top producers, while also reinforcing middle and new members. The commission fairness index (CFI) could provide one health-score to evaluate whether the compensation pay is more for the top tiers, the mid term distributors are being motivated well, and new joining distributors would be able to see some quick results so that they don't quit early. By following month-over-month trends, and employing a scorecard and leader-takeaway box, direct selling organizations can make targeted tweaks such as to mid-tier commissions or new-joiner payouts without driving up overall costs.
