You know how you sound differently when you speak with your parents than with your partner than with your friends? It's all still you, but there is a slight differentiation in perhaps your tone, your language, your volume or even your pace. Are one of these styles more you? This episode came out of a conversation with my brother's fiancee who is taking a mandatory introductory class on communications. Turns out, not everyone is a comms geek like myself and it got me to thinking about the different styles of communication and how your awareness of them, your comfort level with them, plays a role in how you present and market your business.
