It's Episode 8 of THE BRUNTON BUGLE and finally, the lads are back at Brunton Park to watch a game of football!
In this episode, we give you a taste of the matchday experience as United beat Southend United 2-0. This of course, was all recorded before the Government announcement that plans to return fans to football in October would be shelved and games played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future (hard to believe we got ourselves excited about it all!)
We discussed how the planning for this test event had gone so well, how safe the experience was, the excitement of being able to go to the game and a solid performance against a dire Southend side. This episode also contains recordings of the crowd noise and incidents during the game.
Your host Lee Rooney was joined by Dan MacLennan, social distanced, as well as a guest appearance from fellow Paddock season ticket holder Gregg Bulman. We'll be back with a preview episode ahead of the Scunthorpe away tie later this week.
