Description

Moving on from something holding us back can be very hard and confusing.

As humans, we are creatures of habit and routine. We don’t like change. We long for security and stability. If something in our life requires a change, our first tendency is to fight against it and re-establish our comfort place, even if this means we’ll continue suffering. How can we make real changes in our life if this is the case? The key is accepting the feeling of uncomfortability that change brings with it. Instead of fighting against it, choose to live through it and embrace all the new possibilities life will get your way.

In this episode, I am joined by Karina Pacific. Karina is a savvy and seasoned luxury real estate. She was born in Mexico, and she understood the pride, honor, and security that owning property gave her single mother a sentiment. Karina also believes in the value of service and takes great pride in servicing her community. A fellow Rotary member, she supports young life and nonprofits that advocate for children. She also wrote a book called Choosing Magic, a memoir of her story from Mexico to the United States, her healing process in recognizing that everything happens for a reason.

Tune in to Episode 123 of Amiga, Handle Your Shit, and learn more about Karina’s complicated relationship with her mother, how she ended up working in luxury real estate, why she decided to write a memoir, and much more.
