Have you ever wondered what would happen if you left everything behind? Today’s episode is a reminder that following your heart is always worth it in the end.
Today, I'm joined by an amazing woman, Adriana Palomares. Adriana is the founder of La Mezcalera Inc, a space that educates consumers about the history and culture of Mezcal while also recognizing the very significant roles women play in the world of Mezcal. However, Adriana hasn’t always been a change-maker in the Mezcal industry. Back in 2013, she was working as a lawyer with a grueling schedule but a hefty paycheck. Adriana knew there was a more fulfilling career out there and in 2014, she quit her job, and with nothing but two pieces of luggage, moved to Guanajuato, Mexico. Adriana began to learn the ins and outs of Mezcal, from the end to end process to the underappreciated influence of the women within the industry.
Throughout this episode, Adriana tells the beautiful story of her family’s journey to America from Mexico, the challenges she faced as a lawyer, why she decided to move back to Mexico and pursue mezcal and love, what’s to expect in her upcoming novel, and so much more. This conversation with Adriana is a reminder that life is too short to stay miserable in what you are doing day after day. Take the risk of following your dreams!
