We meet Stockholm-based Liam Wilson is part of the new wave of Swedish fighters who have made it to BKFC. The bare knuckle scene has received a major boost with the help of the American organization Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) which has also started running events in Europe and Asia. It was only when I came to Sweden six years ago that I started practicing martial arts, says Liam Wilson. I immediately became obsessed with jiu-jitsu and muay thai and wanted to compete as soon as possible. It was [the idea of competing] that kept my interest from the beginning.
