Description

We can't physically travel right now but there is nothing to stop us armchair travel day-dreaming. This is a personal episode as I'm interviewing fellow Clareman and old friend Mark O’Halloran. Mark is an Irish actor, playwright and screenwriter of great renown. He recently won two IFTA's for Best screenplay for Rialto and Best Supporting Actor for the Virtues. Mark has written and starred in many great films including Adam & Paul, which is a movie now often considered one of the best in Irish cinema history.

We talk about hiking the Camino, cycling the length of the Danube, exploring the Middle East, and recommendations from the less explored parts of Eastern Europe and life in sunny Cuba. He shares stories from attending international film festivals. He talks about summers in west Co. Clare when growing up and much more.

The Travel Tales with Fergal Podcast is an interview series where I talk to interesting people with great travel stories every Tuesday. I would ask you to subscribe and a rating helps others find this travel podcast.. Stay safe and keep dreaming of future travel.
