Florian Marku, you may not have heard of him yet, but in Albania
he’s boxing royalty. Adored by his patriotic fans, they travel far and wide to see him, in their thousands.
But this is just the start of his journey, after winning world titles in kickboxing, plus an undefeated record in MMA, he now has his eyes firmly set on a boxing world title strap. And the vicious puncher will be happy to go through the likes of Conner Benn if they stand in his way.
Marku is half the story on episode 2, his promotor Sam Jones also has lofty ambitions and is already punching above his weight by securing the likes of Joe Joyce to his ever-expanding talent roster. He’s now getting the publicity and respect he deserve but he’ll explain the challenge it’s been to get there and why young promoters should chase their dreams.
