Coulrophobia is a fear of clowns.
Experts estimate that 1 in 10 adults have this fear.
While clowns want to spread cheer, some people find them downright creepy.
So what could be worse than a single clown?
How about an entire motel dedicated to them?
This motel is no laughing matter.
Aptly named the Clown Motel, this desert destination is straight out of a horror film:
Over 600 clowns can be found on the premises, according to the tourism website for Tonopah, Nev., which refers to the motel as a “landmark.”
