Well, after all the talk, the opening of the 2021 Premier League Darts arrived and it did not disappoint. Jarleth Eaton, Jack "Gobby" Garwood and Dan Simpson look back on all the action, in the first Premier League Daily of the year. They start by discussing a fantastic game which saw Peter Wright and Jonny Clayton share a point, and ask if the game of the tournament has already been played. After hearing from The Ferret, the rest of the day gets a look at, as Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen hit 100+ checkouts to get points against James Wade (who replaced Gerwyn Price after the Welshman tested positive for COVID-19) and Dimitri van den Bergh respectively. The trio also give their thoughts on Nathan Aspinall being the only player to win on night one at the expense of Glen Durrant, plus Rob Cross and Jose De Sousa hitting 10 180's between them as they also shared the spoils. Jar, Jack and Dan then give their predictions ahead of night two, which is headlined by a clash between van Gerwen and Wright.
