Listen

Description

On the podcast this week is triathlete and living kidney donor, Hannah Owen.

In February 2020, Hannah donated a kidney to her brother, Rhys, who has previously been on the podcast so if you haven't already listened, why not go back to episode 2 and listen to Rhys tell his side of the story.

Hannah discusses her experience of donating a kidney, her triathlon training and events and how she regained full fitness following the donation.

You don't have to know someone in need of a kidney to donate, you can become an altruistic donor. Please also make sure you share your wishes on organ donation with your loved ones so its clear as to what you'd like to happen with your organs. The conversation could lead to lives being saved one day.
