Oli Barton-Wood is a London based producer (Mellah, Lizzie Reid, Porridge Radio, Molly Payton) and engineer (Tom Odell, Michael Kiwanuka, James Blake, Eliza). His new label Plum Cuts sees it's second release this week with “Ready Forever”, the sophomore single from alt-rock multi-instrumentalist Premium Leisure which is available now on all streaming services.
We talk his new label Plum Cuts, using the studio as an instrument, the importance of environment, Mellah, turning a home into a studio with Lizzie Reid, getting his start, working with Jim Abbiss, Lemon Lounge, red light fever , changing tastes and the future.
