Description

In this episode survivor Yentl details her experience of sexual assault following a night out with friends, and her subsequent criminal proceedings. Yentl and I discuss the assault and circumstances surrounding her assault. We also discuss what her experience and process has been like with reporting to police, the 'rape' kit and the following criminal proceedings.

We also touch on how we deal with trauma and traumatic events, and how we tend to blame ourselves, at least in part for being the victim of a sexual attack. This conversations is honest and powerful, and Yentl is an incredible survivor who is embarking on her healing journey. Thank you Yentl. Warrior woman.
