Just when you thought you'd heard your favourite Jason Parker track, he damn well goes and releases 'crying in the club' banger, 'I Think About You'. Now, as someone who's listened to this song at least 100,000 times, I can tell you that this song culminates all of the things we love about Jason's music and is the blueprint for whatever we will hear from him next. His storytelling paints movie like scenes in the heads of his listeners, his lyrics pierce your heart with their relatability — yet they are still so specific to his own experience, trust me I lived it with him. Producer, Alyyn Tan has slayed the instrumentation which evokes dancing along, no matter where you are and in my case, leaves you gooped — that door slam, am I right? Jason and I spoke about the creation of the song, releasing his debut EP 'How To Be Lonely' and his new found love of Hokey Pokey icecream.
