Do you know the difference between your destiny and fate? The words destiny and fate have been used interchangeably as if they are the same thing, but they have two very different meanings.
In this solo episode, I am talking about the distinction between destiny and fate. Destiny is your true purpose. Your calling. It’s what your gifts are meant to be used for, and the existence you are meant to cultivate. We are all “destined for greatness”. Fate is what you must accept as your inevitable future or destination when you fail to take action on the opportunities presented to you. Your destiny is calling you and requires your participation. We tend to think that we discover our destiny, but when you gain the courage to take action, your destiny will actually find you.
While taking action may be daunting and cause many fears to arise, there is incredible power in taking responsibility for your life and choosing what you want to create. So, how do you live your destiny, or where do you even start? You can begin today. You can open yourself to the opportunities that are placed in front of you. You can ask for them. Once you become clear on what you want out of life, you will be able to identify the opportunities when they show up. Embrace the uncomfortability, face your fears, and grab the opportunities when they come your way!
