PART ONE: In this episode, we celebrated a very special birthday, our guest, Loris, who turns 96, and her Tracey, and bonus we had her granddaughters join as well. Loris was very open about her struggles with fertility in the 50s and 60s, and after finally giving birth, she dealt with Post Natal Depression (PND). Despite all of this, she made sure to pick herself up and become THE MOST incredible mother, grandmother and now great-grandmother. Tracey and Loris both have given back in their lives to multiple charities, worked hard, and their bond has never been unbroken.
The three generations have at times lived under one roof together, bringing the bond of Loris and her grandkids to a closeness that most grandchildren don't get to experience.
We were so grateful for Loris & Tracey for their time and honesty when this subject matter wouldn't have been a topic of conversation during the 1960s.
