We are not taught to deal with grief when we are kids; we are told to stop crying, and we grow up thinking that our emotions make people uncomfortable. Grief can cause exhaustion; it can get us spiraling without control for days before realizing it; our minds spend too much time suffering, thinking about the past, and being anxious about the future. To overcome this, we must start taking care of ourselves and release those parts of ourselves that are fighting against accepting reality, against letting life teach us.
In this episode, I want to share the parts of me that need to be healed. We will go through the discoveries I've recently made about my grieving process. 29 days after the death of my brother Larry, I've reached a critical moment where I felt like a ton of bricks fell upon me. We will talk about the importance of getting someone to help us going through grief, being paired with the right individuals, and releasing the parts of us that need to die.
