Tony Jaa grew up on martial arts films, most of them from China, so he didn't know about wire work. He just thought those peeps were flying around like a bunch of crazy mofos. So in Thailand, he just started trying to learn how to do that shit all on his own. We have to say, he came pretty damn close. This guy is mental, jumping around and kneeing people in the damn chest and whatnot.
