WRP 92 - 1 step forward........

Another huge week on the Women's Rugby Pod, so had to get a "big gun" in to discuss all the comings and goings, test matches, contracts, press conferences, players bravery.........it's all being going on this week!

Ali Donnelly, the creator of Scrum Queens, and leading voice on women's rugby, joins Johnnie to chat through it all. Ali rects to the news raging all week over in Ireland, following comments made by the Women's Director of rugby Anthony Eddie and the fall out from the players themselves! All this after failing to qualify for the World Cup and not hitting multiple targets over the last few years. Has IRFU's attitude towards the game changed towards the women's game? This is just another highly damaging and telling episode to come out of the emerald isle of late. The Scrum Queen's Queen also analyses the England v New Zealand results - how impressive England where, is it just down to professionalism, how much ground do the World Champions, New Zealand have to make up? Johnnie and Ai also run through all of last weekend's results with wins for Wales and France; plus they look forward to this weekend's full programme. What to expect from France and how much South Africa are growing.

Also on the pod, seasoned Welsh international Kerin Lake to reflect on last week's huge news from the Welsh Rugby Union announcing they will be contracting their payers. But also the win over Japan at the weekend, you can hear the relief and joy in Kerin's voice!

Nandi Buthelezi has all the other international and domestic news, from all over like Canada, Nepal, India and China.
