Welcome to 2ZQ Hot takes, where we discuss issues both big and small; I am your host The Very Handsome Tim Kirk and today I'll be talking about Drug Names. Where DO drug companies get those names? I often see ads on everything from bus shelters to subway platforms to websites interstitials to TV ads for everything from HIV meds to Psoriasis to cholesterol lowering drugs and have long wondered how pharma companies go about creating the names of drugs they manufacture. It is a lot more complicated and involved than one might imagine.
