In this episode I chat to Sandy Tang, finalist on Masterchef 2020 and now consulting development chef with a new dumpling business in the pipeline! We talk about her experience of Masterchef, from the thrill of the challenges to the less thrilling aftermath and media responses. We discuss where Sandy's passion for cooking comes from and where she gets inspiration from nowadays, as well as her love for fried chicken. Sandy talks about how she wants to become a more informed advocate for food and culture to tackle some problematic press, and her upcoming Master's in the Anthropology of Food.

Sandy is appearing at upcoming Foodies Festival events in London, Bournemouth, Oxford and Chelmsford (double check her socials in case of any changes!)
