Expanding to the US
Welcome to another episode of 30 minutes with DailyStraits.com. Our guest today is New Zealand-based entrepreneur Toby Littin, the co-founder and CEO of Parkable.
Parkable is an app that acts as the 'Airbnb for parking', letting people or companies share their spare parking space with the community and helping people to find affordable parking in cities. It is also used by workplaces to manage their staff parking.
Founded by three persons including Toby, the company has been on a positive growth trajectory since its inception in 2015. For one, it has expanded its reach beyond the Tasman and into markets such as China and the UK.
Among things discussed in this podcast are:
1) What motivated Toby and the other founders to want to start a company?
2) With Impending lockdowns, has this put a dent in its business?
3) What are some of the expansion plans for the year?
Without further ado, let's listen to the interview here:
