Description

We're kicking off the first season of In the House and In the Senate by speaking to Labor Member for Canterbury, first Greek Australian woman elected to NSW Parliament and my first boss, Sophie Cotsis.

We discuss how seeing her mother discriminated against motivated her to make change, her recent fight with breast cancer and how it has impacted how she views politics, rebuilding the Labor Party in NSW and her thoughts on how the Berejiklian Government is handling health.

NOTE - we recorded this episode a couple of weeks ago in the throes of much speculation about the Labor leadership in NSW - hence our conversation at 25.30.
