This is one of those episodes where I wish I had all the time in the world, but other people only have so much time. Gun ownership is on the rise at unprecedented levels and there are still many people on the fence about purchasing their first firearm. We skimmed the surface of things to consider and look for in both personal defense as well as home defense. We discussed an ideal first weapon for personal and home defense, what type of training to sign up for, what to look for in a trainer, what accessories were considered necessary and which were things that could wait. We also discussed some of the costs to anticipate with your first firearm purchase. We wrapped up with some good organizations that you can get involved with in the gun community. This was a great episode and I can't wait to have him back to dive in depth on some of the more intricate and specific details.
