This week we're talking through a wide range of top headlines from the week.
Taylor Swift Is Pissed Off About The Ticketmaster Fiasco
- We're sure many of you saw the ticket purchasing debacle for Taylor Swifts “The Eras Tour” (whether through headlines, tweets from Swifties waiting in the virtual queue, or watching co workers losing their shit at work in the middle of meetings). For context, Ticketmaster was in charge of managing the pre sale and apparently they had only prepared for an influx of 1.5 million people to their site, not 14 million which apparently they didn’t have the bandwidth for. This led to the website breaking, people waiting in virtual queues all day, etc. As a result of the debacle, Ticketmaster had to cancel general ticket sales on Friday due to “insufficient inventory”. People are upset with Ticketmaster, including T-swift. She let her fans know that she had worked with a "third party entity" and tried to ensure they had the capacity to sell the tickets, but clearly they didn’t and expressed how frustrated she was, but also expressed her appreciation for her fans. Interestingly enough the Justice Department is looking into this whole fiasco.

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde Are “Taking a break” After Nearly 2 Years Together

Chris Hemsworth to take time off from acting after discovering Alzheimer’s disposition
- Chris Hemsworth decides to take some time off from the entertainment industry after learning his genetic disposition for Alzheimers during his Disney+ Docuseries "Limiteless"
How Elon Musk’s Twitter Reign Magnified his Brutal Management Style
- Twitter is imploding as we speak. From flip flopping on the deal to firing the CEO, policy director, and half the company (3700 people). He implemented the blue check subscription which then led to a whole bunch of fraudulent accounts on its first day of launch. Now he’s reinstated Trump, Ye (Kanye), Jordan Peterson and others who had been removed from the platform. Do we think the tech giant is dying a slow death while providing better entertainment than the Real housewives franchise or is Musk just moving fast in an effort to get Twitter in tip top shape quickly?
