Whether during the recovery from an accident, working out, or in our daily lives, listening to our body is essential. Every time we ignore its signs and decide to work out or do the training, feeling pain, we nurture the lack of trust in ourselves. On the other hand, listening to what our body tells us is the first step to healing, improving our training, and strengthening our confidence. 

From a medical standpoint, listening to our body requires an integrated full-body healing approach, which isn't available in Western medicine. 

Today, I'm joined by a beautiful soul; key in my recovery after the accident, Lynn Burgess. She is a renowned yoga instructor, Founder of Yoga from the Heart, a premier teaching studio in Sarasota, where students learn more than just poses. 

We had a wonderful conversation about my healing process and Lynn's instrumental participation in it, her approach to full-body healing, and her unique teaching style. We also talk about the importance of clear communication between yoga students and teachers, people's expectations of yoga since it's considered part of the fitness world, the importance of recovering the trust in ourselves, and the sense of self-worthiness.
