Description

Registering to be an organ donor is one of the most selfless acts of any human being, and those who have donated their organs have given an ultimate gift to humanity.

In this episode, I am joined by Rachel G. Greenberg, founder of the grief support group Connections of Hope. Her husband, Glenn, passed on after a brain hemorrhage in the spring of 2013. As an organ donor, he helped 127 people on the waiting list for different types of organs. This inspired her to start a life-saving campaign encouraging more people to register as organ donors.

Throughout this episode, Rachel shares her experience with grief and how starting a Twitter support group helped. She also shares what she learnt from attending the meetings of organ donors' families. Additionally, she explains why organ donation is important and how it saves many other lives.
