After recently raising $2m seed funding, JD Laborada and Berna Misa of Playdex joins us in this episode to share how Playdex is helping players and guilds to rent gaming assets from NFT holders. JD and Berna will share their respective hustles which includes stints in fintech and AI startups. They will also share how they decided to create a Web3 project with the friends they made in La Union during the pandemic that includes Ron Hose of Coins.ph and Luis Sia of PayMongo. JD and Berna also shares how they were able to create an all-star team and create product quickly that led them to raise $2 million for their seed round.
