Description

Between daycare bugs, recurrent ear infections and dreaded gastro, navigating the illnesses that come along with babies and young children with calm confidence can be a tall order. One person who’s dealt with all of these (& so much more!) is Paediatric Registered Nurse and Mother of two, Penny Blunden. Penny is the Founder of Sick Happens, an online platform designed to deliver evidence-based, practical information about children’s health, with empathy. In this week’s episode, Penny joins Jacquie to talk about some of the most common questions she gets asked. During their chat, Penny also shares some brilliant advice that you will no doubt use next time you’re facing up to head bumps, barking coughs, or random rashes in your little one. This episode is for anyone who’s ever gone deep into a google-search of their child’s symptoms, or wondered ‘Is this normal?’ - which basically means, it’s for EVERY parent.
