Queensland Air Museum Founding Member and Historian, Ron Cuskelly relates the fascinating story of the small group of enthusiasts who were determined, against considerable odds to establish a 'people's aviation museum' for Queensland.
Ron deftly describes the often-frustrating, sometimes-hilarious, always-challenging process that began in 1970 and culminated in 1987 with the official opening of the QAM in Caloundra.
