Our pilot episode! We recorded this way back in autumn 2020, whilst in residency at Snape Maltings supported by Britten Pears Arts. We spent a week testing ideas and basically figuring out how the Taking Note podcast would work.
Our guest and guinea pig for the week was the wonderful Owen Sinclair. A talented multi-instrumentalist, and member of the bands Tannara, Inyal and Westward the Light, he helped us shape the podcast into the form you’ve heard over this series.
Eventually, Owen became the podcast’s producer, and played a huge role in its creation - thanks Owen!
