Sonny is a serial entrepreneur and dad who’s obsessed with how technology can make us more human. His career has been defined by bucking convention, and bringing disparate things together in a unique way. He’s spent the last two years with a team of researchers exploring life-skills learning for children, with a particular focus on confidence.
He’s now building Legends, an AI startup to teach kids confidence, backed by leading investors in technology and education. The goal is to take the concept of a "confidence coach”— something that exists for elite performers— and give it to every child in the world, so they can unlock their true potential. Previously, he co-founded and sold one of the earliest e-commerce fashion brands in India. He also built handwriting robots to foster gratitude (sold to the world’s largest writing company) and started an affordable social club to stimulate serendipity and connection in
diverse but divided communities. He draws upon a unique life experience that includes time as a corporate lawyer, fashion model, and percussionist for global music act Thievery Corporation.
